Progress on the brown-water issue: what we know and what's next
An update on the manganese-related discoloration affecting some residents' tap water, the remediation steps underway, and how to report recurring issues.
Read the updateWelcome. I'm Kristin Faison — your neighbor, a mom of three, and a councilwoman for the town we all call home. I ran to protect the quaint character of Madisonville, to champion the employees and officers who keep it running, and to bring clearer communication between Town Hall and the people it serves.
My husband Chris and I have raised our three children here since 2013. We chose Madisonville for the same reasons so many of you did: the river, the history, the feel of a community where people still wave from their porches.
I spent my career in e-commerce and web development, where I learned that clear communication builds trust. I brought those same skills to Town Council so that residents have a real line of sight into the decisions being made on their behalf — and a real voice in shaping them.
The promises I made during my campaign haven't changed. Every vote and every conversation I have at Town Hall traces back to these.
Madisonville's charm isn't an accident. I support thoughtful growth that honors our riverfront, our architecture, and the small-town feel that drew us all here.
From public works to our police and fire departments, the people who serve Madisonville deserve fair pay, modern equipment, and a council that has their backs.
Livestreamed meetings, plain-English recaps, and a council that answers questions. Residents shouldn't have to guess what's happening in their own town.
Recaps from recent council meetings, projects underway, and issues I'm tracking on behalf of residents.
